Visitation

Bringing the Church to You

We believe that the church is not a building, but a people. Our Visitation Ministry is dedicated to ensuring that every member of our congregation—especially those who are homebound, in the hospital, or residing in care facilities—remains connected to the life and love of St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Duncan, BC.

Through regular visits, we bring a listening ear, a shared prayer, and a tangible reminder that you are a valued part of this family.

Ways We Connect:

  • Pastoral Visits: Pastor Daniel provides spiritual care and the sacrament of Communion to those unable to attend Sunday services.
  • Lay Visitation: Our dedicated volunteers visit members in their homes or hospitals to share news from the church, have a friendly conversation, and offer encouragement.
  • Prayer Shawl Delivery: Often, our visitors bring a handmade shawl from our Prayer Shawl Ministry, providing a physical "mantle of healing" and comfort to those facing illness or isolation.

"I was sick and you visited me..." — Matthew 25:36
