Music is a vital part of our life together at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Duncan. It is the language of our praise, the expression of our prayers, and a way for us to store the Word of God in our hearts. In every note and lyric we seek to honour the Lord and prepare our spirits to hear His Word.

Our Worship Style

Our music ministry is a "blended" experience. We cherish the rich theology of the classic hymns that have anchored the faith for generations, while also embracing contemporary songs that speak to our lives today.

• Theologically Rich: We choose songs that align with the scriptures we study, ensuring that what we sing is as true as what we read.

• Congregational Joy: Our focus isn't on a performance, but on the "joyful noise" of the entire congregation singing as one family.

• Special Music: Throughout the year, special offerings that enhance our seasonal celebrations and Sunday mornings are shared, often as a prelude before church begins..

Do you have a heart for worship and a gift for music? We are always looking for new voices and musicians to help lead our community.

• Instrumentalists: Whether you play the piano, guitar, or violin, we invite you to share your talents.

• Worship Teams: Teams of 4 to 8 lead the congregation in singing at the Sunday morning worship service, with a weekly practice.
